MAC Werk Werk Werk is a muted, darker red with neutral-to-warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in one layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across on lips without tugging. The consistency was very lightweight–almost weightless–and felt thin but didn’t look or feel clingy. It was one of the better-applying Powder Kiss lipsticks. It wore nicely for five hours, left a faint stain behind, and felt neither drying nor hydrating over time.
